Dr Olajide Ogunseye

MBChB, DTM&H, FRACGP, Cert Skin Cancer Surgery, VGCDT, MACAM
Dr Ogunseye is the Practice Principal. Dr Ogunseye studied at Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria. He has a vast interest in General Practice and is regularly attending courses and training to further his skill set. Dr Ogunseye has an interest in HIV Medicine, Skin Cancer Surgery, Cosmetic Medicine and Chronic Disease Management. Dr Ogunseye is an S100 prescriber for HIV. Dr Ogunseye is a QA Examiner with RACGP and has a passion for teaching. In his spare time he enjoys watching Soccer, relaxing with his family and studying.

Dr Juliana Crispin

Dr Crispin has been practicing medicine for 40 years. She began specialising in General Practice in 2006 when she become a Fellow of the Royal Australian College General Practitioners. Juliana enjoys all aspects of GP work but enjoys Women’s and Child Health, Geriatric Health, Chronic Disease Management and Infectious Disease. In her spare time Juliana enjoys spending time with her family.

Dr Tokyo Moe Swe

Dr Tokyo has studied medicine in Myanmar. She has gained much experience in medicine as a medical registrar in Alice Springs Hospital, Logan Hospital, Gold Coast University Hospital and Robina Hospital. She attained the diploma of child health at Sydney Children Hospital network in 2016. She has been working in Wide Bay since 2017. She enjoys learning new clinical skills, which lead her obtaining professional certificate in skin cancer medicine, skin cancer surgery and aesthetic medicine by Healthcert. She’s interested in management of chronic medical conditions as well as preventive health. She is also one of the HIV S100 prescribers of Hervey Bay.

Dr Everest Nkire

Dr Nkire began his studies in 1987 at University of Lagos studying Medicine. He furthered his education by completing a Masters of Public Health at School of Public Health at the University of the Western Cape in South Africa in 2012. Dr Nkire has worked across many countries including Nigeria, Zambia, Namibia and Fiji. Everest has a passion for Chronic Disease management, Public Health and Skin Surgery. He enjoys the relaxed Hervey Bay lifestyle, spending time with his family and relaxing on his days off.

Dr Nkechinyere Ibe

Dr Enkay as she is fondly known joined our team in January 2017. Her interests lie in management of Chronic Diseases, Preventive Medicine, Women’s Health, Endocrinology and Cardio-Respiratory medicine. She likes Hervey Bay and Burrum Heads because of the peace and serenity of the beaches and the semi metropolitan nature of Hervey Bay. Dr Ibe enjoys spending time with her family and relaxing on her days off.

Dr Oxana Agareva

Dr Oxana has been practicing medicine for more than 20 years, she obtained her Medical degree at the Volgograd Medical Academy, Russia.
Dr Oxana has been working in the Australian medical system since 2007 and has a wide experience in both public and private hospitals,as well as General practice. Dr Oxana likes all aspects of General practice, but her special interest is in Emergency Medicine,Women’s Health, Family planning,Antenatal care, Paediatrics, Travel Health and Mental Health

Dr Ahmos Aziz Youssef

MBBS, AMC MRCP, Dip. of Paediatrics
Dr Ahmos has been practicing medicine for 30 years, bringing a wide experience in general medicine and chronic disease management to our practice. Dr Ahmos’ area of special interest has been the diagnostics and management of complex medical conditions. Dr Ahmos has been certified by the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland, holds a Diploma of Paediatrics, and is certified in Family, Reproductive Health and Contraception. He enjoys many types of sporting pursuits, but particularly soccer, table tennis and badminton.

Dr Jennifer Ludwig

Dr Ludwig completed her medical degree at James Cook University in 2008. She then spent the next 2 years working at the Townsville Hospital gaining general medical experience. Her passion for Women’s health drove her to complete the Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 2010. The following year Dr Ludwig relocated to South-East Queensland to work at the Royal Children’s Hospital. As her interest in paediatrics increased, she enrolled in the Diploma in Child Health through Westmead Children’s Hospital, which she completed in 2011. While training in General Practice, Dr Ludwig completed the Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health through Family Planning Australia.

Dr Ludwig enjoys the lifelong learning that comes with General Practice and the spectrum of conditions that walk through the door, and aims to work together with her patients in a caring way to enable them to achieve optimal health.

With the epidemic of chronic disease in the community, Jenny is passionate about assisting her patients with lifestyle modification to prevent or better manage their medical condition.

Special Interests: Women’s health, Antenatal/Postnatal care, Contraception, Sexual Health & Family Planning, Child Health/Paediatrics, Mental Health, Travel Health, Lifestyle modification in the management of chronic diseases.

Dr Roy Davey

Dr Davey’s 45 year-plus career in medicine holds a wealth of experience that we welcome into our practices.  Dr Davey has experience as an Obstetrician, Pediatrician and family GP who performed birthing, cesarean sections, and other small surgeries personally for his patients, as well as a surgical assistant to specialist surgeons in cardiothoracics, neurosurgery, gynaecology, obstetrics and general surgery.

Dr Davey holds a special interests in aviation medicine. He is a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner in Australia and South Africa. He also holds a special interest in depression, which led to the development of a nutritional product to support patients with the condition in 2002.

Over his career, Dr Davey has represented general practitioners medically, politically and nationally in his native South Africa, as well as working as a general practitioner in Ireland, England and Australia. His Australian chapter commenced in 2009 and Dr Davey has been a Fellow of the RACGP since 2012. After seven years of working as a GP in Rockhampton, Dr Davey became an Australian citizen in 2016.

Married with children and grandchildren, Dr Davey has a wide range of interests in professional and personal capacities – he is a pilot and nature conservationist with a love for birding, cycling, travel and classical music.

Dr Apakasimaka Dede

MBBS, DCH, FRACP Consultant Paediatrician
Dr Dede is a visiting Consultant Paediatrician. Accepting all new patients. Referral from your local GP is required. Dr Dede visits approximately every 2 months. Fee’s do apply so please speak with reception to be advised of the costs.

Dr Babatunde Salman

MBBS, H.Dip Ortho, FRCSEd, FRACS, FAOrthoA
Dr Salman is a visiting Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in adult shoulder, hip, knee and orthopaedic sport surgery. He visits us monthly. To have a consultation with Dr Salman, a referral from your GP is required. Fees apply so please contact reception for further details.

Adedoyin (Ade) Ogunseye

B.Admin, RN, VGCDT (Nursing Stream)
Adedoyin is the Practice Manager of Eli Waters, Burrum Heads and Airport Doctor Surgery. She has a degree in Business Administration, BSC Nursing, Post-Graduate Diploma in cosmetic Nursing and  is a PSR Provider. Adedoyin has always had a strong passion for  enhancing people’s well-being and aging. Her interests lies in General Practice nursing as well as Cosmetic Medicine. Ade has a wealth of knowledge and experience in Management, Primary Health and Cosmetic Nursing.

Karen Hicks

Karen qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1985 after completing training at Westmead Hospital in Sydney after working in the various wards. Later she went on to complete post graduate study at University to obtain qualifications in ‘Child and Family Health’. She finally found her niche in Nursing 16 years ago working as a Practice Nurse in a Medical Centre where she learnt new skills and worked as a valuable member of a team of Doctors and other nurses providing Primary Health Care. Karen moved to Hervey Bay in 2005 and have worked at this practice ever since! She is passionate about supporting people who have a chronic disease and helping them to improve their health and make better lifestyle choices. She loves that she get to work with babies and children as well as the very old and frail members of our community. She also enjoys her role as a mentor to nursing students from the University who come here on a clinical placement to learn about nursing in a community setting.

Ibiye Dede-George

Ibiye has studied English language and literature as her first degree, then Nursing here in Hervey Bay at USQ as her second degree. Ibiye chose nursing as she has always wanted to help people get better when unwell. In her spare time, she loves to read novels, watch movies and to worship and sing in the choir at her church. She loves living in Hervey Bay as she loves the environment.

Jane Ariko

Jane joined our team in 2019, bringing with her a great passion for the nursing profession and the diverse pursuits her career offers. Her career in the health sector began in 2011, moving to registered nurse in 2015. Jane’s particular passions in nursing are women’s health and holistic care, which fuel her further studies across a broad range of topics. Jane is a registered pap smear provider and the only RN on our team able to assist our GPs with iron infusions. Outside of the practices, Jane immerses herself in her family, adventurous cooking, faith-focused activities, movies and reading.

Patricia A'Bell

Patricia A’Bell is a visiting diabetic educator at our Practice. She graduated from Charles Sturt University NSW with a diploma of Health Science in 1993.  She began her Diabetes career in 1996 and has been working in diabetes education for over 23 years. Patricia is accredited with the Mater Hospital and Friendly Society Private hospital. She is a Medicare registered provider, Department of Veterans Affairs Provider, registered with private health insurers and a Registered NDIS Provider for Community Nursing.

Conor McLeod and Brodie Robinson

Conor and Brodie are an Exercise Physiologists visiting our practice from Exercise Healthcare Australia. EHA staff take pride in keeping up to date with the latest research, combining this with tried and tested methods to achieve optimal health outcomes for our patients.
