Please note complex appointment bookings need to be made by phoning the practice. This includes but is not limited to Heath Assessments, Pre-employment Medicals, Implanon insertion/removal & GP Management Plans.
If you are unsure if a standard appointment will be a suitable amount of time to address your needs, please phone the practice and our reception staff will gladly assist.
We do our best to accommodate all urgent cases with same day appointments.
When booking, you are welcome to request the doctor of your choice. If our doctors are attending to an emergency, we do attempt to contact patients to advise of any delay in relation to their appointment. You are welcome to phone ahead of your appointment time to enquire of any delays.
Eli Waters and Burrum Heads are mixed billing practices. This means we will only bulk bill those patients whom have a DVA Card, Pension or Health Care Card and those under 15 years of age. If you do not fall into this category and the GP bulk bills you this does not mean you will be automatically bulk billed each visit. It is the discretion of the GP at the time of each consultation.
Airport Doctor Surgery is 100% Bulk Billing for all Medicare Services.
At all locations if you do not hold a valid Medicare card you will be charged the full fee. Please speak with reception staff for more information.
After Hours Medical Care
For after hours assistance, please call 0434 918 580. Please note that after hours service are not able to be bulk billed – a fee will be payable at the time of the consultation.
After hours services are available:
Monday – Friday 8pm to 7am
Saturday 4pm to 7am
Sunday 1pm to 7am
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please contact the practice at least four (4) hours prior to the appointed time. This allows us to offer the appointment to another patient.
